dg asked:

I have a small bathroom. Will a light or white vanity and linen cabinet make the room appear larger, or dark furniture? Thank you for any advice.

Keep everything light in a small area. Use different colored towels, or choose a theme, say Turquoise towels with same colored bathmat. Or if the bathroom feels cold , choose a warm color.

When the furniture is the same color or almost the same color as the walls, the room will look larger.

That is because the furniture then becomes visually part of the wall.

If your bathroom is white or beige, then the vanity and the linen cabinet should be white or beige to make the room look larger.

You can choose bright colors for towels, floor mat, and and shower curtain.
