    Well, if it’s for fiction, maybe one of those self heating heat wrap pads activated, torn apart and packed with toilet paper or other flammable???

    Baby oil which is mineral oil, and something hot. Baby powder put through a blow dryer. Its also a good joke to play on your wife. Just a little baby powder in the end of the dryer makes a hell of a “smoke screen.”
